Join Outdoor Recreation for an outing to Sandy Hills Stables. While at the stables, participants will learn about horsemanship, riding etiquette, horse care and safety. After the riders have been introduced to their horses and learned the basics of horsemanship, they will be taken on a guided trail ride.
The stables break the participants into three groups and within the two hours of the event, they rotate between horsemanship, safety/etiquette and then the trail ride.
Since, it is a beginner trip, the participants are not turned loose on the horse and are riding at non-galloping speeds. Price: includes transportation and admission ticket

No experience necessary. Participants must be 12 and older and weight 250 lbs. or less.
